Ok, so we've been working on the drywalling and now the mudding and taping! That is an especially rewarding phase because you finally get to seal everything off! The spiders no longer have special entrances from both cieling, side corner, floor joint, and center wall! Really, it makes everything have an immediate "finished" appearance, you get to cover up major imperfections, fill large voids, and eliminate rough edges!
Willie & I have a great time trying to put mud on each other when the other is trying to concentrate. The ultimate success is when you can manage to land a glob of wet mud on the back of the others neck when you are on a stool and the other decides to bend down just below you!!! That's true joy! And second best is when you can succeed in placing a small dab on their shirt or pants where they will inevitabely touch it later without knowing that it was actually you that got them!! :) What can I say, we try to have fun while we work!

This picture was taken just seconds before i collapsed to the ground....I bent down to fill my pan with drywall mud and breathed in the noxious fumes which continuously eminate from the depths of Willie's body. It wasn't as bad some of my experiences with dad, i was only out for about 15 minutes.

THe other extremely exciting thing that we accomplished today was the installation of a new water heater! ! THis is great because the old one was only good for about 3/4 of a shower. Now we have the ablility to wash our body and not just our hair! This is quite significant seeing that it actually takes Willie 2 full showers just to clean his incredible mop once!

Dad comes to D-Town on Thurs morning and we are eagerly anticipating his arrival. We have been trying to think up the appropriate project for him and I think we did! ;) Keep checking us out and we should be posting more for each day that he is here.
Love to all
BJ

I'm really thankful that you fixed the miscellaneous spider entrances before my arrival on Friday... don't even think about it Bubba! (And I will be thankful for the hot water too!)
