good evening to all! :) Today was a great day, but extremely cold after almost 2 weeks of a spring teaser! We didn't get a whole ship load of work done, but that was mostly due to the lack of sleep after dad's "red-eye" flight. After talking with dad on the phone at around around midnight i promptly went to sleep at 1:30 am only to have my alarm wake me up @ 4:20 am! I was under orders to sleep until i received the phone call from dad to pick him up but i set my alarm anyway in order that i would be sure to hear my phone. Well he was delayed an hour, so i needlessly snoozed restlessly until 5:20 and then drove to the airport.
All was good and when we got back to the house we went to sleep and i didn't wake up till 11:30 am. It was a fantastic morning/afternoon though! We got up and had coffee, then we had some coffee, and after a while of talking and just relaxing around the living room we decided to have some coffee! Very nice! Then from 2-7 we got some work done! Tomorrow we have plans to pretend it's a real work day. keep u posted! love to all, BJ

This was preparing for Alison & dad's visit. We cleaned the entire house and reorganized all our work equipment etc.... When we get too focused on our work it's easy for us to just let the mess get messier! So this was something very necessary, we only needed a little kick in the pants.
When dad comes we prepare only the finest of sleeping accommodations! Actually, this was his "choice" or first pick for places to sleep. He says it helps his back! ? Ok..sure.

They're scraping the construction adhesive off the walls, they're looking at me funny cuz i keep thinking up reasons why i shouldn't be helping them!
Dad is mudding the bathroom walls and corner soffit, while i clean his trowels.
Veggin' in the livin' room watchin' TV. This was while is was BBQin' dinner out in the snow!
